Here at Double A, we recommend that all of our customers invest in mulching at least once per year. Mulch not only creates a beautiful landscape, but also provides tremendous benefits to the soil and plant life.
When mulch is applied correctly every year, it can prove to be a big component in assisting the plants, trees, and soil. These benefits include:

- Moderating soil temperature– keeping it cool in the summer and warmer in the winter

We highly encourage mulching to be done in the springtime. Harsh winter temperatures cause mulch to break down. The springtime is when the soil starts to warm up and is the perfect time to begin weeding, planting new plants, shrubs, trees, and new vegetation, cleaning up landscaped areas, and have new mulch installed.
